heres teh definition for the moron who said this song isnt about irony at all. i think you neeed a dictionary.

the humorous or mildly sarcastic use of words to imply the opposite of what they normally mean

3. incongruity between what is expected to be and what actually is, or a situation or result showing such incongruity

Hi

This song is actually really ironic in that none of the items in the song are ironic (hence the irony) and in any case, Alanis is only asking if it is (which the answer is obviously No). However, although Alanis and the writers may be aware of the irnony, I am not so sure about the 50,000 I've witnessed singing along to it.

I was little the first time I heared it.I didn't knew the words and meaning but the music and the voice have hipnotized me.This song will forever remain because this is a song for everyone.Especialy for me.Sometimes when u wont somthing too much u can;t have it ,but when u don;t think of it at all it comes right up to u in the right moment but you;re not awear of it...Ironical
