Reviews about The X-Factor
All hail Iron Maiden! | Reviewer: Lucas Madigan | 10/20/2005
After Bruce Dickinson left Iron Maiden in 1994, the band recruited former Wolfsbane frontman Blaze Bailey and began work on their next album: The album (titled The X Factor) turned out to be the darkest album they ever recorded, sounding more modern (and honestly, disapponting) than their previous efforts. Blaze's vocals are a lot different from Paul and Bruce, and although he can't scream like the other two he can yell and shout; as a result, the 11-minute opener "Sign Of The Cross" and the rampaging "Man On The Edge" are the album's two major highlights.
