The new Deep Purple | Reviewer: Rob the OZ | 5/11/2006

Yes, as my g-friend says, the Iron Maiden took from Blackmore and co. and re-did it all over again in the most new wave of ways! In my op, the song that is most represented by the expression "NWOHM" is "Running free"..when i first heard that one it was like going back to when i first heard Black Night..it gave me the same kick and the same GOOD vibes!!! There is yet to be another band like the Irons.

All hail Iron Maiden! | Reviewer: Lucas Madigan | 10/25/2005

Iron Maiden's first album was the perfect blend of punk and metal, and no one had probably even the slightest clue that the band would focus only on heavy metal in the future; nevertheless, despite the band's feelings about the album it remains one of their finest and proves that Iron Maiden had exceptional talent from the very beginning. Just listen to the opening track, "Prowler": It's fuckin' amazing!
