Metallica Invisible Kid Lyrics

Last updated: 09/01/2012 12:44:49 PM

Invisible kid
Never see what he did
got stuck where he hid
Fallen through the grid
Invisible kid
Got a place of his own
Where he'll never be known
Inward he's grown
Invisible kid
Never see what he did
got stuck where he hid
Fallen through the grid
Invisible kid
Got a place of his own
Where he'll never be known
Inward he's grown

Invisible kid
Locked away in his brain
From the shame and the pain
World down the drain
Invisible kid
Suspious of your touch
Don't want no crutch
But it's all too much
Invisible kid
Locked away in his brain
From the shame and the pain
World down the drain
Invisible kid
Suspious of your touch
Don't want no crutch
But it's all too much, yeah

I hide inside
I hurt inside
I hide inside, but i'll show you...

I'm ok, just go away
Into distance let me fade
I'm ok, just go away
I'm ok, but please don't stray too far

Open your heart
I'm beating right here
Open your mind
I'm being right here, right now
Open your heart
I'm beating right here
Open your mind
I'm being right here, right now

Invisible kid
Never see what he did
got stuck where he hid
Fallen through the grid
Invisible kid
Got a place of his own
Where he'll never be known
Inward he's grown
Invisible kid
Never see what he did
got stuck where he hid
Fallen through the grid
Invisible kid
Got a place of his own
Where he'll never be known
Inward he's grown

I hide inside
I hurt inside
I hide inside, but i'll show you...

I'm ok, just go away
Into distance let me fade
I'm ok, just go away
I'm ok, but please don't stray too far

Open your heart
I'm beating right here
Open your mind
I'm being right here, right now
Open your heart
I'm beating right here
Open your mind
I'm being right here, right now

Ooh, what a good boy you are
Out of the way and you're kept to yourself
Ooh, Can't you see that he's not here
He doesn't want the attention you give
Ooh, unplugging from it all
Invisible Kid floats alone in his room
Ooh what a quiet boy you are
He looks so calm floating 'round and around in himself...

Invisible kid
Locked away is his brain
From the shame and the pain
World down the drain
Invisible kid
Suspicious of your touch
Don't want no crutch
But it's all to much
Invisible kid
Locked away is his brain
From the shame and the pain
World down the drain
Invisible kid
Suspicious of your touch
Don't want no crutch
But it's all to much, yeah

I hide inside
I hurt inside
I hide inside, but i'll show you...

I'm ok, just go away
Into distance let me fade
I'm ok, just go away
I'm ok, but please don't stray too far

Open your heart
I'm beating right here
Open your mind
I'm being right here, right now
Open your heart
I'm beating right here
Open your mind
I'm being right here, right now

I like this song but they shoulda put some guitar solos i think they did it because most of the listener doesnt understand guitar solos because they are so stupid. Wicked lyric \m/ rip cliff

metal band | Reviewer: metalhead | 6/29/12

This song is my whole social life in a nutshell and not until recently have I discovered this great album. That said the St. Anger video is my earliest memory and I regret not listening to the whole album until now. It could have helped a whole Fuckin' lot over my short life.

Rediscovery | Reviewer: copypastemre | 4/24/12

This song helped me rediscover both the album and the invisible kid within me - not so much forgotten in my case, but forced to hide. Yes I dissed the album when it first came out but I wasn't mature enough to understand it then. It now speaks out to me in a totally new level - after having gone through many hardships in my life. St. Anger is truly an epic yet emotional and blasting-in-your-face album. You just need a tiny dose of understanding and do away with the posing!

I think the sell out for MetallicA the death Magnetic was! All the album they did before was experimenter... But Death Magnetic was just a Remix of their old albums !!! And i Think now that was a mistake to think on this album as Shit cause this is more experimenter as the Magnetic Album ! This album is good just the sound was shit ... other way it is something new and good stuff !

I love this album, not only because they go back to the garage-sounding metal, but the lyrics mean a lot. im also kinda happy they didnt put in solos full of the wah effects. i bet if you heard this song and didnt know it was metallica at first, you would have liked the song. just because they changed their style doesnt mean they suck. everyone seems to call metallica sellouts and all this bull because of this album. if they ever did sell out in their history, it wouldve been the Black Album.

More feeling | Reviewer: ClassicIbanez | 2/13/11

Along with exploring more styles of music, this album also features the most relatable lyrics out any others they have written in my opinion. Sure its not Metallica's old style thrash they used to do, but in terms of meaning, the lyrics in the songs
are far more easily to relate to than lyrics of songs like Four Horseman or One.

Experimental | Reviewer: TheHoodatron | 1/12/11

The album was just Metallica exploring a style they haven't tried before, and it turned out to be not as good as previously thought, and messy in places. Although I think it was a very interesting album and not a bad one at all.

What weed do you smoke, it was so good??? this album suck, it's the only album I can't list and Metallica was the better band in the world, it just have no good song, the sound of the band is to weird I can't hear and no solo what is the problem, we can't do a song with out a solo???

amazing | Reviewer: kimiko the great | 2/15/10

so what if theres no guitar solos? so what if theres somehting up with lars's snare drum? none of that matters, cuz saint anger and all of the songs on the album are amazing. the vocals are much better then those on ride the lightning and ...And Justice for All and Master. my personal favorites on this album are invisible kid, st. anger, and frantic, almost solely cuz of james's vocals and the bass playing.

fuck u unkown | Reviewer: mario Rondon | 1/12/10

all i can say is fuck u unkown u pussy u gay PUTO MARICON!!! at least have the balls to say ur name u shithead fuker metallica rock and this album is not far behind the great master or justice or ride the lightening its just that ur little sissy head can't take the heavy sound of it

besides this album practically saved metallica fro fading apart!! ot fukin roks!!!

Metallica are legendary. | Reviewer: ChR | 10/27/08

I totally love this song, as well as Frantic, St. Anger, Unnamed Feeling and Some Kind of Monster, as much as I love the entire Death Magnetic Album and many of their old songs. I strongly believe Metallica deserve respect for having written so many perfect songs and for keeping it up for so long!

good song | Reviewer: mixalis16 | 12/8/07

this definitely isn't old metallica.. and it definitely shouldn't be this long.. and definitely should have a solo.. but it is not a bad song. its the kind of song that stick in your head even after its over.

This is the worst song ever. I can't believe it goes on this long. Buy Ride the Lightning.
