Muse Instant Messenger (Pink Ego Box) Lyrics

Last updated: 12/21/2009 10:00:00 AM

It's gonna be ok
Can't afford another day
At 50 bytes per second

I've never seen your face
I've never heard your voice
But I think I like it

When you instant message me
With a promise
I can feel it
I can tell you're gonna be
Just like me

My eyes are gonna strain
My heart is feeling pain
At 50 beats per second

I've never seen your eyes
I've never heard your lies
But I think I like it

When you instant message me
With a promise
I can feel it
I can tell you're gonna be
Just like me
Just like me

You turn
You turn
You turn on me

When he instant messages me | Reviewer: CJ | 12/21/09

Well, this song makes me think about the ego boost that some individuals feel when they are behind the screen of a computer, on certain social networks such as myspace etc.
Personally, I believe that Matthew Bellamy is experiencing an infatuation for someone that he is online with and though he hasn't even met the girl, he becomes overly involved with her.
Well, just my though.;)
Plus, I also have some personal experience with such an occurrence of an online relationship that I had with a guy from England...whose charms enraptured me to believe that there was more to our relationship than there actually was.=(

This song always reminds me of a girl I really like who lives in England when I listen to it. :<
She has even dedicated it to me a couple of times
