The year is 1994. Welcome to Jacksonville, FL. Dan
McLintock, 14, and Scott Shad, 12, meet, jam, and form The
Abominable Snowmen of the Himalayas. After six months of
complaints about the long-winded title the kids re-dub the
band Inspection 12. Anyhow, over the next six years the
boys recruited high school cohort Pete Mosely and Scott's
cousin James Trimble to play guitars. They played a couple
of shows opening for smaller bands like No Use For a Name,
Limp, Snuff and Millencolin before moving on to play with
such renowned acts as Manface, Bohr-Bor, and the ever
popular Throbbing Gristle. From 1995 to 2000 Inspection 12
also released four full-lengths and two EP's on their own.
