born in 1979, in Staten Island, New York. New York-based
Michaelson’s parents were both artists. Her father Carl

I first this song in 2008. It would come on MTV early in the morning while I dressed for work. It came on every morning around the same time. It was my alarm clock and my reason for wanting to wake up. Eventually I bought the CD but somehow misplaced it due to my hectic life and schedule. I walked in Kohl's last week and they were playing it! I asked the cashier who song it. I could not remember Ingrid Michaelson's name. Finally I typed the lyrics "I'll buy you rogaine" and it appeared. I am so happy I heard this song again. Often times we forget the special songs we love due to so many artists making music. This is definitely a song I will never forget again. It's a beautiful song and I will repurchase the CD again soon.

i love this song so much i saw it on american idol when some chick sung it to simon ha then i ran agrosss it on the mtv channel but it was the end & i didnt see what it was callled. but i rember from american idol the rogain part and it just took me to this website right when i typedd " rogain " lmao. . then i looked up ingrid michaelson . i love here , i also love the song by her its called " be okaaay" it was on the house bunny lmao thats what im gonna be when i grow up . im thirteeen . i came to hear this song about just about 2 weeks a go. then just rigth in the top to love this song. its easy listenig..and kinda song that you would hear and feel solitude. its a lovely song with a simple lyrics.

i had no idea this song existed until it came on some small radio station that i hardly ever listen to. it's one of those songs that make you stop twisting the dial and want to hear more. i love it! it makes me happy.
