I'm dead
I died long ago but my spirit still roams (Incorporeal)
Unwanted in heaven, forgotten in hell as on earth (Incorporeal)
I don't want to stay here, it seams that I'll never be free
Oh can you hear me? (no)
And so
It has come to be that I must wander forever (Incorporeal)
Many things I have seen, empires that rise and then fall (Incorporeal)
A life you live long is simply a moment to me
A tiny drop of water in the sea of eternity
There's no place for me everywhere that I go
Only seems to bring upset and harm
There's one thing that I want and one thing only
Release into the great beyond
Don't want to remember when I was alive
When I held my true love in my arms
For like you I once was, and like me you shall be
When you
Feel a chill in the night perhaps it's me saying hello (Incorporeal)
You're so much like my love though she lived in a long ago time (Incorporeal)
I long to see her for the day when my soul's laid to rest
The peace that I can not find in life, I can find in death

Review about Incorporeal Meaning | Reviewer: ZombieVivian | 4/10/09
The meaning isn't that his love died and he wants to join her in death at all. If you read the lyrics, he has already died, but instead of passing on and going into heaven or hell he's remained in-between in purgatory here on earth. He's remembering his past love from ages ago (she obviously didn't stay in purgatory, but passed on when she died) because he sees a girl who's alive now that reminds him of her.
The Moral of the song is that after his true love has died all he wants is to be free of being alive and remembering his true love. Basically he wants to join his true love in death.
awsome song, very memorible | Reviewer: kevin hamby | 12/1/07
this song is great and the lyrics r amazing, the voice is very talented, can someone tell me what the moral is
this is one of the best songs i have ever heard. the voice, which shows a lot of talent (or, if not, potential), manages to make up for the repetitive drumming and guitar. and if you don't think this is agood song instrumentally, just read the lyrics...i knew the song before...but i was blown away when i read the lyrics...enjoy it, its one of the best songs ever!
