Not to get all Christiany on you, because I don't consider myself a Christian, but the lyrics are proposing that it doesn't matter how hard you try, how many fields you plant, how strong willed you are. If you do try and do these things on your own and without God, you will fail. End of story. rhyme scheme. | Reviewer: page13avenue@hotmail.com | 7/20/07 these lyrics are more than i think most people realize. not only is the message profound and at least somewhat meaningful, but the song is entirely in rhyming couplets with end rhyme <i>and</i> internal rhyme. this is hard to do and mewithoutyou deserves a lot of credit for it.
