The Jam, un-doubtebly one of the best bands ever, they're musical genius, combined with Paul Weller's 'way with words' give every song a place in history.

'It's too bad' has a very thought-provoking meaning to it-the idea of a couple breaking up, because of the woman messing the bloke about, but he still loves her.
I myself, have been in such a situation, and the lyrics reflect truly what it feels like, and the music compliments it perfectly.
