U2 I Will Follow Lyrics

Last updated: 03/23/2011 11:00:00 AM

I was on the outside when you said
You said you needed me
I was looking at myself
I was blind, I could not see
A boy tries hard to be a man
His mother takes him by his hand
If he stops to think he starts to cry
Oh why

If you walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway
I will follow

If you walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway
I will follow
I will follow

I was on the inside
When they pulled the four walls down
I was looking through the window
I was lost, I am found

Walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway
I will follow
If you walkaway, walkaway,
I walkaway, walkaway
I will follow
I will follow

Your eyes make a circle
I see you when I go in there
Your eyes...your eyes...your eyes...your eyes

If you walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway
I will follow

If you walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway
I will follow
I will follow
I will follow
I will follow

The beginning of a legendary Band!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/23/11

Releasing their first album at abt an average age of 20 is itself a feat no matched by many. But to produce songs of such high quality is absolutely amazing. U2 started their highly emotional and religious career with a single worthy of their talent. The world had the first glimpse of Edge's brilliant minimalistic guitar work. All in all a wonderful track with solid lyrics.
