I Saw Red Lyrics
Artist(Band):Warrant
Ooh, it must be magic
How inside your eyes, I see my destiny
And every time we kiss, I feel you
Breathe your love so deep inside of me
If the moon and stars should fall
They'd be easy to replace
I would lift you up to heaven
And you would take their place
(Chorus): And I saw red when I opened up the door
I saw red, my heart just spilled onto the floor
And I didn't need to see his face...
Cause I saw yours
I saw red and then I closed the door
And I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore
And every day I wake up
I thank God that you are still a part of me
We've opened up the door to which
So many people never find the key
And if the sun should ever fail to send its light
We would burn a thousand candles
And make everything alright
Chorus
I've been hurt, I've been blind
I'm not sure that I'll be fine
I never thought it would end this way
Cause I saw red when I opened up the door
I saw red, my heart just spilled onto the floor
And I didn't need to see his face
Oh, I saw yours
I saw red and then I closed the door
And I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore...
Yeah... ooh, it must be magic...

Review about I Saw Red
Thank you guys! | Reviewer: Chris | 1/6/2008I've always felt this song was written just for me. The week it came out my first "true love" was caught bt me just like in this song. My life would never be the same and this song helped me through that period in my life. The band was tight, the lyrics make you hopeful yet sad at the same time and the solo adds to the intensity of the song. thank you guys!
Thank you, Jani! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/24/2007
I got home early, found my live-in BF and my alleged best friend doing something they shouldn't have been doing (figure it out!). I went out to my car, drove away, turned up the stereo and rolled my eyes when I heard what I thought was going to be a sappy love song come on. Boy was I wrong! Once it was done, I went back home, packed my crap and ended a 6 year relationship. Who would have thought an L.A. Rock Station could provide such therapy? Jani made it sooo clear! That was LONG ago.. and I've never known a moment of regret. I freakin' love this song, it saved me a lot of misery!
