I Believe in You Lyrics

Performed by Talk Talk
Review The Song (1)

Hear it in my spirit

I've seen heroin for myself
On the street so young laying wasted
Enough ain't it enough
Crippled world
I just can't bring myself to see it starting

Tell me how I fear it
I buy prejudice for my health
Is it worth so much when you taste it?
Enough there ain't enough hidden hurt
A time to sell yourself
A time for passing

Talk talk is a great band. a bit borderline with new wave in its early years but grew up to be a pretty decent jazz alternative or whatever (i hate labels). this song is a 4 out of 5 for me. though it relates to something I never did (heroin) the melody is really soothing and added to a collection of sililar melodic styles that I listen to when I can't sleep. they're in the top 20 for me
