I was born 3 months too early
The doctor gave me 30 days
but I must of had my momma's will
And God's amazing grace
I guess I'll keep on livin'
Even if this loves to die for
Cause your bags are packed and I ain't cryin'
Your walking out and I'm not tryin' to change your mind
Cause I was born to be...
Chorus:
The baby girl without a chance
A victim of the circumstance
The one who oughta give up
But she's just to hard headed
A single mom who works two jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands and a heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor....
I don't believe in self-pity
It only brings you down
Maybe the queen of broken hearts
But I don't hide behind the crown
When the deck is stacked against me
I just play a different game
My roots are planted in the past
And though my life is changing’ fast
Who I am is who I wanna be
Chorus:
The baby girl without a chance
A victim of circumstance
The one who oughta give up
But she's just to hard headed
A single mom who works two jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands and a heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor....
oh...A single mom who works two jobs
Who loves her kids and never stops
With gentle hands and a heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor....
But I must of had my momma's will
And God's amazing grace

Hey Reba,
I love this song to the bitter core. I was watching your show today and everytime I hear your song come on when the show is just beginning, my sister-in-law and I sing along. Today was the show about when you had to make the big football dinner for the WildCats, and it turns horrible because Cheyenne bought potato salad that was not Ed's Potato Salad. In the end you made it all better even though you had your own views on the outcome of something that is very important to these kids. I realized as long as you just have faith in no matter what and you believe in something hard enough, what really matters in the end is that there is always family, and you can always count on them, even if things don't go as planned. You are phenomenal, thank you for being that source of hope that my sister and I wish for in whispers. We have never met you in person, but we appreciate you for who you are. Be safe and enjoy life, it only gets better everyday. Love ya.
