Last night at my youth group, I made a powerpoint about the suffering and brokenness that is mentioned in this song. The last few pictures that my youth pastor and I put in, really seemed to move some of the people there. The truth is, is that no one can always be 'okay'. There's always something holding us back from fully giving ourselves to God. Someone shared that they had a small house fire about 8 years ago, and her mom thought "Okay, all I need to get are the pictures." When she opened the door, the fire just sucked the air out of her lungs, she stumbled back and then closed the door. We have a choice; we can either let the world, and material objects, suck the life out of us, or we can choose to close the door on that, and depend only on God alone. I only have one question for you...Would you realize what life really is, if you were stripped of all your worldly possessions?

about a year ago I heard a message from our jr. high teen minister about sometimes he talks to someone and they're all high and good feeling but then later he asks again if they're doing alright and then some of them confess the truth...they're not alright. For many yet different reasons. After I heard this message when I got home, I was actually listening to WOW hits 2007 and I came upon this song. After listening to the message from my minister and this song, I saw how it can relate to my life when at times I can't just be "faking" that I'm alright and that I need to confess to God problems I'm encountering so that they can be fixed. I love this song!

My Son just died August 25th 2007. People ask me "are you ok?" What I think they mean is I care about you and dont know what else to say. This says it all. My heart, my loss, my faith in JESUS.

I really like this song. It's well written and the music is great.

It's also the first Christian band i've heard, that don't sound metal. If you take a look at bands such as 'As I Lay Dying', 'Haste The Day' and 'Still Remains', they are metal, yet Christian.

Then again, those 3 bands are classed as 'Christian Rock', this band is classed as 'Christian' and/or 'Gospel'.

Sanctus Real is a great band, and they give all of the glory to God, and that is how all of us should be. God has gived us everything whether you believe in him or not, and that is just how merciful God is.

this song is a christian song, performed by a christian group, but it doesnt have to refer to god. i mean, i have gone through some stuff in my life, and i havent always depended on god for help. i have had special friends or a important person to help me through it, so just because its a christian song doesnt mean its talking about god. and it is a very good song by the way.
