i thin this is just a beautiful song! and btw i think it is really really bad to be fascinated with the gringo culture... c'mon.... i love mine, sure i like this song and there are things about that culture i like, but if somebody calls me a yanl i would be really angry, im proud of my roots and im proud of being costa rican, i would not trade that for anything.

This song is in the movie "American Pie" and that's where I first heard it. I love how they sang it as a choir in the movie. I'm from Australia, but I am fascinated by North America so much! People from the USA and Canada are so cool in my books anyway. My sweet uncle Steve always says to me: "Oh you North American Girl!!" He sometimes calls me a yank for fun.
