How I Made My Millions Lyrics - Radiohead

Review The Song (10)

I was stronger
I was better
Picked you out
Now don't say a word
No don't yell out
Never mind
Let you out
Led you back
Stay on
Sit down
Let it fall
Let it fall
Let it fall
Let it fall

Oh Radiohead... | Reviewer: Claire | 8/26/12

I can only wonder what Thom's egg predicament meant to him, because this gorgeous song would not exist if there was an onset of raw, human, and even nonsensical emotions. The title's irony I really like too ;)
And yes, Alex, I do indeed agree with mr. anonymous as this is radiohead's style: simple phrases that explore many interpretations. PLEASE HAVE SOME TASTE

This song has such a pretty sound...
Which is why the fact that the song is shy of a respectable meaning makes me want to punch Thom Yorke in the vagina.
He wrote a song about dropping eggs? And made it sound like White Noise on a day where the world has revolved for the last time, letting you see all of the time you've wasted not pursuing your dreams, and you lay back and remember all of the happiest, saddest, angriest moments of your life, and those who have come and gone from it. Why make such a touching sound about eggs? It's too pretentious to bare.

Actually.... | Reviewer: alex d | 9/1/11

Thom and his girlfriend were at the grocery store and in the parking lot his girlfriend dropped a dozen eggs on the ground. He picked them up, told her to get in the car and they went home and he wrote this song. You can hear his girlfriend chopping veggies in the back.

alright did it ever occur to anyone that he may not have been writing from his perspective, or there may be use of irony in the lyrics. there are different ways of reading it. why so quick to condemn?

so beautiful | Reviewer: Jack | 7/26/09

this song is so beautiful that even the hater 3 comments below me realized it after hearing it more than once
I just heard it for the first time and already consider it one of the best pieces of music ever recorded

This song creates such a unique and beautiful vibe...

Its what its all about, despite what the lyrics may be. They could be improved...it doesn't matter. Thom's voice and the piano just take you to another place. I don't see how anyone listening to it cannot be moved by it.

I love this song, Thom recorded this in his own home, you can hear his girlfriend chopping vegetables in the kitchen in the background. It's just so intimate and you can really feel what Thom feels.

Alex: do you know ANYTHING ?

um | Reviewer: Alex | 8/9/07

ok re examining the lyrics now i'm not too sure.
The first line - 'I was better, stronger'- has really turned my opinion around.....maybe its not such a piss take....
damn Thom.

BURN!!!! | Reviewer: Alex | 6/28/07

this just cements my impression of Radiohead as underrated pranksters.
Thom can be quite a bitch when wants to be. We just get blindsighted by his pretty voice, is all.
I mean 'Motion Picture Soundtrack?'
Tell me were not that dense.
