Review about How Far We've Come Happyness and pain... | Reviewer: Leo | 4/9/2008 Though, at this point in time, this song brings forth in me a sadness that cannot be described, it is still one of my favorite songs. My normally deep reviews are beyond me at this point in time... all I can do is write simply, concisely. This song is an inspiring one to me most of the time, giving me hope... the reason for this is because I can see beyond the goodbye of this song, and see what my mind presents at the "Hello, welcome to another chance." Perhaps this is merely hopeful thinking, perhaps it is truth... Today this song brings me total sadness... it pains me deep inside my chest, for today I can do nothing but take this song literally... as a goodbye... Pain of heart creates in one a sense of desolation, and this desolation increases as your mind comes to terms with your hearts pain. That is until you grow numb to it all. After that moment, the moment of going numb, your mind tries to convince your heart it was wrong... Sometimes, this sense of numbness is immediate, while others it takes a seemingly immeasurable amount of time to form in you... ... and even as your mind tries to convince your heart not to hurt, your heart ignores it and longs for what made it so happy before the desolation. This feeling is the realization of true love... This song used to create in my hear the vision of the latter... made me happy, made me think of forever. But recent events make me feel so alone... So alone that I am able to find the sad in every song... This is the doom of a hopeless romantic who is too immature to see things the way people think he should... Who is too immature to keep things silent... This is my only outburst for this particular event... I'm keeping it silent from here on out.
