    This is an amazing song and has a lot of meaning behind it. I believe its making referance to the virginia tech shootings and the singer is portraying the shooter. he mentions if he laughed while he was doing the massacre, and he will never be forgiven. "an honest goodbye means that he is leaving this earth and will never come back, not even in memory.
