Hollywood Lyrics
Artist(Band):Daniel Powter
Hey, this could be cool
Cause we could be together, but nothing lasts forever.
Me, I'll be your fool
Pick you up when you fall down
Chorus:
And move across the dance floor
Let me buy you a drink or two
And you could be my star for weekends
Do you like your Hollywood?
As far as I'm concerned, the lesson's been learned
At least that's what I understood
That's right!
Hey!, tell your daddy not to wait up
You're not coming home; you're all mine
And that's fine; I'll keep you by my side
Oh!, a few work all our lies
Chorus
Come on!
Writing a letter that you won't come back,
These days ain't been good, but then these days ain't so bad.
Sooner or later when yoo come around,
You've got these problems, them I'll write you down
Let me be star for weekends
Do you like your Hollywood?
As far as I'm concerned, the lesson's been learned
At least that's what I understood
Let me be star for weekends
Do you like your Hollywood?
As far as I'm concerned, the lesson's been learned

Review about Hollywood
Do you like your Hollywood? | Reviewer: Chris | 11/4/2007I don't know if this is just my sick mind. I understand the lyrics not to be "Do you like your Hollywood?" which would be a question asking her if she likes her Hollywood, but to be "Do you like you're Hollywood." This is a very subtle difference but it makes more sense. It is the difference between asking her if she likes her Hollywood, and telling her that he will be her star, or she can be his star and they will have sex as if they are both Hollywood stars. Does that makes sense?
missing words | Reviewer: Tami | 5/5/2007
mostly it is correct except the last chorus should have "at least thats what I understood"
