When my school ended for the Christmas and New Year holiday in 2012, I knew that I had to seriously get busy. I had to complete the writing of my thesis which is entitled, "Building Disciples Today: Literary Analysis and Study of the Methodology Used by Jesus Christ. Well, each day, over and over, and over again, I played "His Eye Is On the Sparrow".I completed the whole paper with my notes written on large index cards and my TBN Bible with the New Living Translation/ King James Version. That song got me through. The Holy Spirit showed up and I completed my last sentence on December 28, 2012. Today is March 8, 2013 and I am getting ready to defend this graduate school paper at New Life Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. I give God all the praise and the honor. I believed He sent that song to usher me into the presence of the Lord so that I could complete this paper of 78 pages. God bless the ladies for giving this anointed song of encouragement, praise and worship. May God bless all who have written in proclaiming the goodness of the Lord, my savior and my redeemer,in Jesus' perfect and sinless name, we pray. Amen.

This has been one of my favorite songs from the first time I heard it. God has brought me through so many difficulties in my life but His constant care and love for all of us is so amazing. We have a wonderful and amazing heavenly Father.

Woke up dis morning for my devotion & thats d song God gave to me. i remember my daughter whom i just moved into her first apartment. She's reading medicine & sometimes it gets hard but i know she will pull through i will send her the lyrics cause i know they will help her at difficult times. OOuOur God is good all the time.

Im currently doin my as exams. I was feeling so depressed after i realised i had put some wrong answers. But after listening to this song it told me that God is great. He can do anything and theres no need to be depressed. Its a very strong song and im still singing it...

This is a beautiful, old song, written in 1905, the words by Civilla Martin and music by Charles H. Gabriel. I myself remember it being sung by Ethel Waters, and I have sung it at many church services and funerals. It always touches me.

I learned this song from sister act when she sung it after I watched it for the first time I had to download it and get the lyrics. I listened to it everytime I played music. I love lauren hill. This song hearing it touched my heart and brings tears to my eyes. Its such an incredible song

My gramma used to hum this song all the time. I can remember so clearly her humming this song. Although I didnt know all the words back when she was here with me, I now know them and whenever I listen to it, it brings such joy and happy memories of her. I miss her dearly. Love you Inez!!

I love this song, it was one of my grandma's favorites, we would sit and sing this song toghter. Even when she got down and sick, and couldnt talk, i sung this to her. At her memorial this song was sung, and it just brings back so many good times i had with my grandma, and it brings joy, and happiness to me. It makes me cry but crys of joy and i sit and sing it and repeat "I love you grandma", I mess her so much.

Each time I see a sparrow, I think of this song. It seems to uplift every soul that sings or hears it. I have in my Will that it be sung, I love it so. It says it all, about God and His great love for me, as well as His creatures.

It means a lot to me especially that my mother used to sing it. Unfortunately, she passed away...which is the reason why I'm singing this today at her funeral. I hope it shares great love, and joy to everyone as it does to me.

rip in peace to my daddy that loved to sing i get so emotional when i hear gospel music because it reminds me of my daddy. he loved to sing. i think singing and fishing was his hobby. my daddy sung even when he began to have strokes and his voice began to leave he would still sing. his favorite song before he passed was "wave my hand" while on my daddy death bed in the hospital i bought in the song and played it .it bought much peace . my daddy layed there peaceful and at ease. i didnt understand at the time that my daddy had to go when god called him but god gave me the strenght to live on i thought i couldnt make it without my daddy i had so much faith and trust in him .i realized that i was trusting the wrong person cause i begged him not to go but he had to leave but god stayed there with me from the beginning to the end.i love my daddy.but god loved him and me best. rest in peace "dae" wilson carter jr
