"High Hopes" by Pink Floud remains my favourite song to ever, ever have been written. Its the bells, the long intro, the menace in his voice - its a masterpiece and in all honesty I have never heard anything so beautiful as Pink Floyd's version. However I am also a die hard Nightwish fan and would say this would be comparable if I didn't love "High Hopes" so much. It is a clever and more energised rendition of the song, but you can't knock how eerie Gilmour writes about lost dreams and time slipping away. I love both really, this version just has a lot of energy and is nicely done. Two great bands, one amazing song, enough said.
