Its somewhat of a tribute to his friend. if you listen to the lyrics not just the music then you will slowly understand the brutality behind the song. Its very well writen and I thank Rob for being so open about his emotions. when Rob Freeman played this song to his friend they broke down in tears and said "you nailed it". 10 out of 10 easy! Hidden In Plain View takes its tasteful lyrics and explains how every broken hearted lover feels when a soul mate is stripped away. Joe Reo's voice conveys a powerful sound that speaks straight to the heart with his amazingly clever lyrics. The band plays a harder sort of set but it is softened with the vocals and dramatic lines. This song is very tasteful and it can relate to anyone and everyone who has suffered from a broken heart. Thank you HIPV for reinterating how i feel. I think so, I went with a few friends to see them on friday night at a local club, as soon as they came on the place went wild, I've never seen a place so controlled by music. with only 300 people watching the sound was clean and crisp. The way in which they link the songs from one to another is without a doubt magical, HIPV will be one of the next biggest Emo/indie bands on the way to the top so look out for them and remember to buy there album 'Life in dreaming' its worth spending £10 on. Top tip: Best song to see live is 'Garden Statement' it means alot to the band and once you understand the lyrics you will see why its such an emotional song.
