Hey Jude Lyrics
Artist(Band):The Beatles
Hey Jude don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Hey Jude don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better
And any time you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Na na na na na
na na na na
Hey Jude don't let me down
You have found her now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
So let it out and let it in
Hey Jude begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you
Hey Jude you'll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder
Na na na na na
na na na na Yeah
Hey Jude don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her under your skin
Then you'll begin to make it better
Better, better, better, better, better, Yeah,Yeah,Yeah
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na, Hey Jude!
( 16 times till fade out)

REvise of JOHN is on mike | Reviewer: arcel | 12/12/08
"Woo hooo, Lee:"
Calado Revises, John is on mike etc, very naive |Reviewer: skip|
The song is clearly about heroin, although, it is my belief and others that it is actually about Dylan's heroin use. Julian being shortened to Jude (not Jules), Jude is a name for a person of Jewish descent. John points out; a lot of the famous rock stars of the mid late 60's who were involved in gear. If you don't believe me about John, then go read,"The lives of JOhn Lennon by Albert Goldman," you hate it. We already know that John blogged descriptions of songs like "Lucy in the sky" which was about Julian's drawing of a friend from school, and how they had to go through all of thier other titles. To even suggest that they were unable to include references to wahtever subtle is to suggest that they were not skilled in song writing, and had to only have references that had a literal meaning. Come on, how stupid are you? Have you ever listened to lyrics of any performer? # (179 words)
You guys... (As well as a good review) | Reviewer: The Clarity | 11/17/08
To clear things up, this song has nothing to do with drugs. It was made as a lullaby for John Lennon's son.
Anyway, this song is one of the greatest songs in the Beatles' career in my opinion. It's both beautiful and well-written.
what christy said | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/8/08
christy is absolutely right. Paul actually wrote the song himself, though john wanted his name on it. Paul wrote it to comfort julian because of John's divorce was taking a toll on him. Its that simple. The song doesnt even have the feel of a druggie song. Its simply a good song written to comfort somebody
Love it so bad! | Reviewer: Azor Torres | 9/2/08

wrong! | Reviewer: christy | 8/18/08
this song is not about heroin! paul mccartney wrote it for julian lennon when his parents were divorcing!
it was originally called "hey jules" but paul changed it to jude because it sounded better.
John is spot on mike etc, very naive | Reviewer: skip | 7/6/08
The song is very clearly about heroin, although it is my belief (and others by the way) that it is actually about Dylan's heroin use. Whoever heard of Julian being shortened to Jude (not Jules). Jude is a name for a person of jewish descent. Like John points out, a lot of the famous rock stars of the mid to late 60's were involved in gear. Sorry but its true. If you dont believe me about John at least, then go read 'The lives of John Lennon by Albert Goldman' you'll hate it, ha-ha! We already know that John blagged descriptions of songs like 'Lucy in the sky' was about Julians drawing of a friend from school, yeah! and how they had to go through all of their other titles to check what they spelt out. To even suggest that they were unable to include references to whatever subtlety is to suggest they were not skilled in songwriting and had to only have references that had a literal meaning. Come on, how stupid are you? Have you ever listened to lyrics of any perfomer. Christ Almighty! Spot on John!
Oh My God | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/3/08
for everyone who thinks lucy in the sky with diamounds was written to be a song about LSD your wrong. John's son came home one day with a picture he made in school and that is what it was called, Lucy was a girl in his class...that's what made them write the song
Who cares? | Reviewer: Rebecca | 4/12/08
This song is friggin NOT about heroin, but if it was, so what? Yes, some of The Beatles songs WERE about drugs, ex. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, but what does it matter. Lucy in the Sky is one of my favorites of The Beatles (though there are many) because it's a GOOD SONG. Who cares what the song is about as long as you enjoy listening to it?
P. S. This is on my status message on AIM...
John Lennon, the hottest druggie since 1940.
^^^So true! xD

Mike's black or white interpretation is so typical of people who can't (won't) face the truth b/c the truth implicates them. He probably takes a literal interpretation of the Bible for the same reasons. Don't get me wrong, a world of rainbows, puppy dogs and simple altruistic actions would be nice - it is nicem in fact, when such things take place. But the truth is for adults. The Beatles hit smack with the same abandon as other famous rockers of the era, all of whom probably couldn't touch the heights of even your average 15-year-old New Yorker. Why is this so surprising? Because there's Adam & Eve and Paul writing a simple song with no double meaning etc. Just ask, Mike here. He knows b/c he has to -if not, his world (and yours probably) will come apart at the seams.
