Hello? Esta Caco? ERES Caco? PUES, you know, y-you fuckin' call me THA Caco? OK?
I keep asking what's your lie?
It is disturbing, it squeezes mine.
Days keep passing, one notch at a time.
I don't feel right. Please God let me sleep tonight.
Every day confronted, circumvents giving in. I just wanna know why.
Want to give it up but I can't escape. (x4)
I keep asking, can you please try.
It is haunting, this tin stole mine.
Days keep passing, line after line.
I don't feel right. Please God don't let me die tonight.
Die tonight... (x3)
Every day confronted, circumvents giving in. I just wanna know why.
Want to give it up but I can't escape. (x4)
Please God. (x2)
Please God help me.
Please God free me.
Please God help me from my painful situation.
Please God help me.
Please God free me.
Please God save me from my painful situation.
Want to give it up, no I can't escape. Please God help me.
Want to give it up, no I can't escape. Please God free me.
Want to give it up, no I can't escape. Please God save me.
Want to give it up, no I can't escape. From my painful situation...
Please God, don't let me give in tonight, please God.
Oh, please God, don't let me give in tonight, please God.
Oh, please God, don't let me give in tonight, don't let me die.
Please God, don't let me give in tonight, don't let me die!

Review about Helmet in the Bush what's your Lie? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/20/09
this song is about meth/speed addiction as some stated before, beside the sleepless nights and all meth gives you temporal impotence, it means no erections! therefore the title Helmet In The Bush.. Like your dick basically looking like a helmet in the bush which is your pubic hair.

This song is about Jon, Head, and Munky's addiction to speed (powered version of meth) during the beginning of their career and how hard it is to stop. They would do speed and stay up for 3 or 4 days straight and then sleep for like a week straight.

I just have to say Jonathan is not a satanist. He believes in God just not in organized religion, which is a far cry from being a satanist! He believes there is a higher power and therefore if there is good there must be evil. This song is about drug addiction.
I think meanings are irrelevant with all of KoRn's music because they strictly expressed they want the fans to interpret the music however they feel. For many people and myself these lyrics are like a cry out for help --- although be it from God it's still a cry out for help. I use to listen to this song a LOT back in the day and I have picked it up recently.
Jon isn't 'jaded against god'. He's a satanist, which is different than an anti-christ, but he knows what christians have done 'in the name of god', using that as an excuse to kill and rape entire countries. Jaded isn't the same as aware.
Actually this song is about Head and Jonathan being addicted to Meth and asking God to help them stop. This was, of course, very early on before Jonathan became so jaded against God.
i love this song but i love this band.
I hate that Jonathan got raped and shit.
im glad that he gets through it
