Sure, HIM's a pretty good band, but honestly, they're being treated like Gods and they don't deserve it. To me, all of their songs sound the same, and they're all always about the same thing.
BEST BAND EVER!!!!! | Reviewer: Ville-lover | 1/19/2006
This band is nothing less than amazing, and this album goes above and beyond my expectations for them. Songs like "Salt in Our Wounds" "Heartache Every Moment" and "Pretending" make me dance whenter I want to or not, and "Love You Like I Do" makes me cry. These are songs that I just have to sing in the shower. The lyrics are great too, totally poetic. If you're depressed, you can relate. If you're in love, you can relate. And if you're depressed and in love, you'll never listen to any other band. This is the album I can't take out of my CD player.
An added bonus: a delicious picture of Ville Valo on the last page of the booklet(well, Linde, Mige, Gas and Burton are in it too, but you won't notice them). Also, you can hear Ville breathe on "Close to the Flame". Lovely.
So all I can say is, BUY THIS ALBUM!!!! Do it now, or you will regret it forever!
