Guerrilla Radio Lyrics
Artist(Band):Rage Against The Machine
Transmission third world war third round
A decade of the weapon of sound above ground
No shelter if you're lookin' for shade
I lick shots at the brutal charade
As the polls close like a casket
On truth devoured
A Silent play in the shadow of power
A spectacle monopolized
The camera's eyes on choice disguised
Was it cast for the mass who burn and toil?
Or for the vultures who thirst for blood and oil?
Yes a spectacle monopolized
They hold the reins and stole your eyes
Or the fistagons
The bullets and bombs
Who stuff the banks
Who staff the party ranks
More for Gore or the son of a drug lord
None of the above fuck it cut the cord
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Contact I highjacked the frequencies
Blockin' the beltway
Move on D.C.
Way past the days of Bombin' M.C.'s
Sound off Mumia guan be free
Who gottem yo check the federal file
All you pen devils know the trial was vile
An army of pigs try to silence my style
Off 'em all out that box
It's my radio dial
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
Lights out
Guerrilla Radio
Turn that shit up
It has to start somewhere It has to start sometime
What better place than here, what better time than now?
All hell can't stop us now
All hell can't stop us now
All hell can't stop us now
All hell can't stop us now
All hell can't stop us now
All hell can't stop us now

Review about Guerrilla Radio
Really great! | Reviewer: Swedish Citizen | 5/29/2008If this doesnt trigger some kind of revolutionary thought you are either deaf or just plain stupid.
Fortunatly we dont have the same caliber on our politicians here in Sweden, but some of the characteristics are the same, that also goes for the political system, we have some things that are more "evolved" if you will but still a great deal that is fucked up, bad.
Imo, this song is about freedom! The core is mental feedom, wich in turn will generate physical improvments.
Enlighten people and slit fucking throat while you are at it!
Btw, if you ever think of killing yourself, make sure to take one of these assholes with you.
(Im gonna see them live in exactly 2 weeks from now at Hultsfredsfestivalen, im prepairing with alot of pasta to make it through the whole thing:) )
actually | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/14/2007
actually RATM would support neither over the other, this song is about the lack of real choice in america, about how the polls are merely a smokescreen to convince the masses that they actually control the outcome.
as the line right below says "none of the above" they didn't want bush or gore to win.
The line "son of a drug lord" refers to allegations against bush senior that he supplied drugs to the inner city to finance illegal wars during his tenure as cia director.
why america is looked down upon by the world | Reviewer: anonymous | 12/10/2007
alright I dont know who sent the review on the 18th of October, but whoever he is, he's a stupid motherfucker. Yeh Gore didn't look like he was going to be a promising presidential canidate, but he would of been a hell of a lot better at doin his job then the stupid mutha fucker in the white house right now. I'm positive that RATM would support Gore any day over Bush.

rage, unlike so many of the bullshit metal bands, have a reason to be angry, and the anger is focused, like a razor edge. id rather this to get me crazy rather than some dick who knows nothing of anything other than how to scream and play shitty riffs in drop D tuning
