Good Charlotte Lyrics

Good Charlotte's frontmen, identical twins Joel and Benji
Madden, were born on March 11, 1979 to a middle class
family in Waldorf, Maryland. Their mother raised them with
a strict Christian up-bringing. Their father left the
family when the twins were 16 years old, causing financial
problems for the twins, their mother, older brother, and
younger sister. For a short period of time the twins had to
work as shampoo boys in a salon. Benji and Joel cite their
older brother Josh Madden for introducing them to rock
music by bands such as More...

Do you miss your little girl | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song Emotionless performed by Good Charlotte

My dad left to be with another women when I was 4 and my brother was young too (I am now 14) and he sees us once a week but is very reserved and grumpy. He recently told us he was having another child with his 'partner' which both me and my brother found very upsetting. I can relate to this song a lot because it really sums up how I feel and when it says 'do you miss your little girl' I think this really calls out to me. Anyway thank you good charlottes for this great song!

------ About the song The Anthem performed by Good Charlotte

This song is so awesome!!! It reflects who i am as a person and as a student attending a school. The "popular" crowds try to make me change or ignore me but i don't want to like them. So this song is the perfect song that reflects my opinion since i don't have a voice in the student crowd. Thanx GC for writing songs that reflects us!!!!!

------ About the song We Believe performed by Good Charlotte

This song more speaks to me about war - the woman's only son dying, and all the 'suits and ties' with a 'war to fight', and wondering how they can 'sleep at night', which to me is showing the huge difference between the people who start and continue wars, and the families of those who have to go fight.

It then goes on to say that we are "all the same", showing that there shouldn't be this huge disconnect where some are sent to die and some are left safe and happy to send these men off to die, and that we shouldn't have wars in the first place as we are all human and no one deserves to die in something as small as differences or not viewing a human's life as worth enough.

------ About the song Young & the Hopeless performed by Good Charlotte

I'd like to refer these guys to this one-hit wonder band that released this one song about celebrities complaining when their lives are incredibly easy due to their fame and fortune compared to the average American.

It's called "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" by Good Charlotte. You might have heard of it.

And don't give me any, "They were making it for the underprivileged." because you know that it was mainly made for them to vent about what's "troubling them" as a band.

------ About the song Misery performed by Good Charlotte

This song is awesome it tells you to be who you really are not what the people around you expect you to be. Like at my school if your really smart they expect you to dress ugly and not know anything about what the "cool" kids know but they do and the "cool" kids are expected to be really dumb and in the lower classes. But this song help made only the tiniest bit self conscious so i can be me around anyone where they are pretending to be people who they aren't so i can live my life the way i want to and be my version of happy not theirs but they'll be happy like the other people are pretending to be. Another thing that helps is that my friends understand me and are their own happy aswell.

------ About the song Say Anything performed by Good Charlotte

Woow this song just speaks to me. Unfortunely me and my best friend have faded away n it totally sucks I just wish I could tell her all of this. It's sad to think we are close to strangers now. Well we aren't really it's just that we have to pretend we are and worst of all I need to pretend that I'm alright with all this so she can get what she wants, what she needs

------ About the song Moving On performed by Good Charlotte

I am in the process of moving, and I need some good moving boxes and moving supplies. I have heard really good things about smoothmovesupplies.com, but I was wondering what people thought about them? They have free shipping on their products, they look easy to set up, and they are pretty cheap. Check them out. www.smoothmovesupplies.com.

------ About the song Once Upon a Time: The Battle of Life and Death performed by Good Charlotte

Nice work. I knew these were in Japanese, but I had no idea what they were! It's good that you put in the kanji, phonetic Japanese, and English. I've printed this and whenever I sing it at school my friends are all like "what does that mean?!" so I show them the translation that you so skillfully made!

------ About the song Falling Away performed by Good Charlotte

In this song he is calling out to God for help because he has sold his soul to the Illuminati, ultimately, the devil. He puts it in code because he can't just come out and say it or the Illuminati will kill him.
