When people hear the name Steve Perry outside of Journey, 2 songs usually come to mind, Sherrie & Foolish Heart. Unfortunaley, the song GO AWAY is not added to that mix. One of many hidden gems off of Steve Perry's '84 solo album Street Talk, this song gives you a nostalgic feel of 80's yesteryear. It's true the song has an 80's feel to it but is that bad? I say NO! In fact, I feel Go Away has a very soothing sound that should resonate to today's music. Give a listen for yourself and hear for yourself the lyrical magestry of Go Away.
