I like the 2nd verse part of the song when I sign "'Say is mine its mine is mine not yours'' with expression sign I did. my sign language to this song is not an easy song to sign language for. I just finished reading "The Dark Rose", then happened to catch this song on an ad channel on TV. Both made me cry. I see the person singing as a teenaged boy with his "teacher", not a school teacher, but a woman who is teaching him about love and sex. Both the book and the song are very haunting.

I think that words of this song plus its video say something oposit. I wouldn't go that far with the molestation jugdement.
In my opinion it is about love that should never happen. Author knows that but somehow he can not end it. Finally it goes to nothing, only pain remains...

Are you people out of your minds? Just WHO do you think you are, to judge another for whom they love, regardless of their gender? Those of you who claim to follow HIM and HIS teachings...you are the same who condemn this man, George Michael, and to say that you have "lost respect" for him, due to his sexual preference...just who are you to judge another? You all sound like hipocrites, professing to know the word of GOD...if that was so, then you would surely know that there is only one JUDGE, and HE consults no jury. George Michael is a man, whose blood flows, and runs red, exactly as does your's. George Michael is a man, who weeps bitterly when he experiences the great loss of a loved one, such as his mother, or his lover, exactly as would you, if you were to experience a loss of that magnatude. George Michael is a man, who has many, many talents, one of those, and not the least of his many, is music. George Michael has the ability to bring raw emotion out of even the hardest of us. This beautiful song he wrote, and sang, has indeed brought emotion out of those who listen to it, not just hear it, but LISTEN to it. Thank-you George Michael! I have always been a huge fan of GM. Because I am an Intuitive healer whose specialty is helping others understand their own heartaches, this song is very powerfully emotionally important, not only for me, but for my clients and the world in general. He is so in tune with his own soul that it is hard to believe that there is this much heart contained within one human being, but there is, and we are all quite a bit luckier that GM is part of our world. This is one of those songs that just hits a person right in the soul and one that explains quite well the decisions which must be made, which are presented to us and which, in the end, become just what we needed, even though at the time of our loss it may seem otherwise. I am so glad that I was able to download it. My Spiritual Guides lead me to certain music so as to gift the lyrics to my clients. The woman who received these particular lyrics cried when she'd received them because they gave her a sense of not being alone, a sense that someone else on the planet has gone through the same emotions that she feels right now. I could never imagine what it would be like to walk in on my sister in bed with my lover, but this is what happened, and she is healing nicely from the shock, even and all the way to forgiving her sister for such an indelible mark on the client's heart and soul...God Bless GM for this timeless classic! I personally think that this song is about him being gay. Which is perfectly ok! I think he means that he doesn't understand how he feels and he really doesn't want to because he's conflicted about his feelings.

Of all the love songs ever written this one has to be one of the greatest.
Taking the devastation of the loss of a kindred spirit - a lover - The One, and expressing that love in such a poignant way shows the open-heartedness of this musical genius. flawed yes, but a genius notheless.
I feel the loss with every word and with every breath.
