Frankenbok are a five-piece Heavy Metal band from
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Frankenbok were founded in
1997 by guitarist Aaron Butler and vocalist Adam 'Hutch'
Glynn and have since released three full-length albums and
one EP. Frankenbok have toured Australia on numerous
occasions, building a strong cult following in their
homeland.

The current Frankenbok line-up consists of Aaron Butler
(guitar), Tim Miedecke (bass and backing vocals), Mick
Morley (drums), Dan McDougall (vocals) and Nathan 'Yeti'

the first time I experienced Frankenbok was when they were a mere opening act for a internationally famous New Zealand metal band 8 Foot Sativa, so it was a pretty hard act to open for, the first song that caught my ear was "the hole" which has lyrical stylings of mudvayne or slipknot, The vocals hit notes and also have the ruff groar of a band such as 8 foot or soulfly if you will, the drum line and hard and moshable and the riff's are clean and have the catchy tune affect.
