September Of My Years Album Tracklist

my favorite sinatra album | Reviewer: joe luchenta | 6/21/11

As a man of a certain age, downside of 55, I find myself returning to this album very often. Beside the fact that I find Franks voice and phrasing to be at his zenith, and the arrangements flawless, its more than the music that draws me in. The songs of lost youth, loves and passing of time strike me deeply these days. I particulary like the songs relating to children. As a empty nester the song "It gets Lonely Early"resonates. Not to get maudlin or wallow but just to recognize our shared humanity. A truly memorable and classic album from the chairman of the board.
