Hey baby come round
Keep holding me down
And I'll be keeping you up tonight.
The four letter word got stuck in my head
The dirtiest word that I've ever said
It's making me feel alright.
For what it's worth, I love you
And what is worse, I really do
For what it's worth, I'm gonna run run run
'Til the sweetness gets to you
And what is worse I love you!
Hey please baby come back
There'll be no more loving attack
And I'll be keeping it cool tonight.
The four letter word is out of my head
Come on around, get back in my bed
Keep making me feel alright.
For what it's worth, I like you
And what is worse, I really do
Things have been worse
And we had fun fun fun
'Til I said I love you
And what is worse, I really do!
For what it's worth, I love you
And what is worse, I really do
For what it's worth, I love you
And what is worse, I really do
For what it's worth, I love you
And what is worse, I really do

Review about For What Its Worth answer to Bru | Reviewer: stefania | 7/23/09
the first meaning you found is like: I know that this fact doesn't give you the trust to believe me, but at least I'm trying.
so, for ex: "for what it's worth, I'll always be here for you" (even if the other person has just said that he/she doesn't want to see him/her anymore)
while the second one is like: "I know that it doesn't change anything in the situation, but I want you to know that.."
it's similar to the first one but has the different gradation of the fact that what I'm saying can be clearly the truth, I'm not trying to convince the person of anything. (i hope you can understand me :P)
I think in this case it's more the second one!
she's saying: "I know that you don't care, I know that you left because I told you I loved you, but I really do love you anyway!"

i'm not very good in english, can anybody tell me what it means 'for what it's worth' please?
i've tried lingvo and there're 2 idioms, and their meanings are both suitable here (imho)
first - 'for what it is worth', which is 'not warranting credibility/truth'
second - 'for what’s it worth', which means 'don't know how much important is it'
and yes, i hear 'For what it's worth' in the song, but what exactly that means?
thanks a lot ;)

Wow! I've seen the videoclip on the MTV and I loved this song! Her voice is sooooo soft! Oh really nice!
