For Felix began in the summer of 2002 while
Bassist/Vocalist Dan Perea was visiting his old home on the
east coast. A few weeks of jamming for fun with guitarist
Whit Maull and drummer Jay Gelardi resulted in an 8 song
demo, which was first released under the bands original
name Still In Pieces. Things turned serious in the fall
when Dan moved back to New Jersey permanently and the
band's name was changed to For Felix.
