How I feel is that...he was a teenager when he made it, and was mad at his girlfriend...and said some really racist stuff. But does that mean that he's racist? When I was a teenager I made a song with a cousin of mine that was kind of racist too, it was called "Kill The White People" (And thought it was funny that Apache made a song called that too.) The writer of the last post also couldn't seem to understand why others would be offended by Enminem's lyrics. I'm Black, and all of my white friends think of 'cracker' as an antiquated, meaningless word. The word is so generic, it elicits laughter instead of anger. On the flipside, you have a group of people, Black women, who have dealt with a lot of race based experiences that frankly, the writer of the last post would never begin to be able to understand. Otherwise, he would have not curtly told us to "DEAL WITH IT". The different set of life experiences that Black females have may make us more sensitve to Eminem when he says...... "Black girls are dumb, whites are good chicks." Black girls are "bitches". They "only want your money". The previous writer of the last post probably has no emotional associations to go with the word "cracker", wheras Black women have had to fight the misconception of being "bitches, sac-chasers, easy, etc since they were kids. Every Black woman I know has had experiences where someone has treated them like a second class citzen, and it was centered around some of the stereotypes Eminem listed. These experiences we have are what make me get a little edgy when I hear any rapper, WHITE OR BLACK disrespect black women.
