To me, it's a real indictment of the political decisions this country has made, invading places like Vietnam and Iraq, just the arrogant attitude that we can go in with the big guns wherever we want to make policy go our way. "Toys for boys"-- weapons of death. And then the whole metaphor of the world as something to be consumed by either cannibal and/or missionary, a prize to be conquered and fought over. "Tales so tall" that are "ordinary," when they are the bullshit justifications for unnecessary wars, do make one's toes curl. Just my own two cents, for what it's worth... But it seems to fit. It has Absolutely NO LYRICS in the game not even "Follow, AAHHHH" But in the Halo 2 Soundtrack it Has the Lyrics "Follow, AHHHH" and then I was looking around in a Music store and saw Alive at red rocks and bought it... Surprisingly enough the song was on the EP disc inside which it wasnt the normal Follow it had these lyrics and a barely noticable different beat. It still kicked ass.
