I cant Make a decision on who is better. because its a personal opinion and you cant say either is good or bad. But Fixation is already an amzing song no matter what. singing is Amazing along with the Screaming. And howard has some great vocals on teh Fix. on darkness. But still some of the older songs had a good melody in the music

This is an awesome song. Howard Jones and Jesse Leach have both done a great job in Killswitch Engage. It is hard to say who the better vocalist is. Jesse Leach wrote the lyrics for Killswitch back in the day, but Howard doesn't write them now, Adam and Mike do. I just think it's cool that they have a black vocalist! Rock on Killswitch

just to say, i love them both. jesse is an awesome screamer but to say hes better than howard would be wrong, howard has a unique style which leads some to mark him down as a screamer as he doesnt sound the same as every1 else, btw i aint sayin howards better either. howard is definately a better screamer though and when there is a howard/adam d chorus it is truly something special, they just contrast so perfectly. on the other hand jesse writes better lyrics, no doubt about it, alive or just breathing is my fave album of all time closely seconded by their 1st album called killswitch engage, their debut not their 2009 album. kse 4 life

well between Jesse and Howard i perfer Howard idk why i just do, but i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE da way they both sing and scream and both of their lyrics r jsut beautiful and amazing i love them both i also love Lamb Of god by da way lol but KSE is my favorite band of all time =)

I don't know why people try and decide between the two. Howard is the singer now, that's the way it is. I personally like Howard better cause he is more experienced. His melodic and clean vocals are even more amazing, they set the bar to a whole new level. Strong, commanding and emotional (i.e arms of sorrow). His scream outstands me he can do anything with it. It's menacing and brutal at the same time. He mixes it up so much and so creatively that it never gets old. Leaches vocals were to generic. Yes Last serenade was awesome and Howard can never replace Leach in his original songs, but Howard tries and does an awesome job. KSE fucking rules and so does Lamb of God.

I think they're both awesome. But screaming wise, Jesse is better. Singing wise, Howard it better...and Howard is better live, from what I've seen. But I like them both. They're both great singers.

On my opinion, it depends on what kind of metal you like more, if your a harder type, youd like the old Killswitch, more mellow people like the new Killswitch. But personally, i believe the old killswitch rules, his screams are undenialble. I heard Howard try to cover the old songs and he didnt do a good job of it. He did a horrible job of covering My Last Serenade too. Which is one of the most famous songs. over all though, Killswitch Engage is awesome. Lamb of god is gay by the way, :). lolz

I think this is deffinitly one of my favourate songs from KSE, along with Reject Your Self, Take This Oath, Rose Of Sharyn and Holy Diver. If you like KSE, then you should try some Lamb Of God, there my favourate band next to KSE.

Jones is way more powerful and raw than Leach ever was!
If Leach was still with them they wouldnt have had that grammy nomination and be selling albums like they are now that Howard joined!

My Last Serenade was awesome indeed. I'm listening to it now. On the other hand, The albums Daylight Dies and End of Heartache seem better to me. It isn't the singing that catches me on either Jesse or Howard's songs, it's the guitar, but I do have to say Howard's weirdly fits.
