Five Iron Frenzy started in the May of 1995 when Reese
Roper, Micah Ortega, Scott Kerr, Keith Hoerig and Andrew
(Chaka) Verdecchio all gathered together too make some
noise. After a month of jammin', the band obtained their
first horn player, "Wonder Brad!" in the June of ‘95. About
now the band started to incorporate ska into their
"electric montage" of styles. Two moths later, in August of
'95, Jeff, (The Girl) and Dennis both joined in on this
crazy bunch, thus creating the Band we know now as Five
Iron Frenzy
Now that the whole band was assembled, they began to play
more frequently in the Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins area. and
have been able to play with some great bands (Secular &
Christian Alike) which include, Less Than Jake, MU330,
Mealticket, Mephiskaphe More...
I just heard of these guys about a month ago and I have to say they are a very great band. I can sing along to almost all their songs right now. They are a great band and hopefully I will be seeing them soon!

this is an AWESOME song...it comes on their live cds and they always play it at the end of each five iron concert...its powerful and it gives me goosbumps listening to it...definitely go get it...NOW!
