I first heard this song when I was with my ex boyfriend. he was wearing a bright eyes shirt. so I asked him about it and he told me to listen to this song.. and now I can't stop listening to it because it reminds me of all the amazing times we had together.. he sang it to me on guitar and sounds just like the band.. this song is amazing.. I love it.

Out of 10 stars id give it a 10 cause when i first heard i saw the music video and to me when it showed the girl with the picture made me feel sad but it is such a amazing song. my favorite part is "I'd work for a paycheck then waiting in for the lottery. Besides maybe this time is different. I mean i think you really like me.

First time i heard this song is when my boyfriend played and sang in a bar the last night i left the states.. He sang it several times when he visited me in Thailand.

My favourite lines of the song, it's wonderful. It portrays lust, or love, or infatuation or what ever everyone feels towards that somebody.. really, really well.

I first heard this song performed at the school's Parade by one of the students. I can really relate to it and had to hold back the tears, now days when I listen to it at home with my partner always close by I can't help but feel great full for what I have. It's so very beautiful and would have to be the best illustration of love I have ever come across.

It would get 10 stars from me. Very simple, but skilled song. They sum up infatuation pretty well. Also it has a really interesting harmony/ chord progression in the chorus. I II vi for one measure, then when lessing for the V it goes to the IV, then to V, and finally back to the I. Nice little combination of a "Rhythm Changes" progression with a Blues progression.

this song pretty much sums up life. Its simplistic point, is not overly done. He really has the most profound ability to relate to anyone by showing his honest self, which few are up to doing in fear of being rejected.

My absolute favorite line of any Bright Eyes song would have to be:

he shows his want to work hard to make this new enlightenment of his self just work.
