Review about Final Distance The Ultimate review. | Reviewer: Mickrunti11 | 1/11/09
I absolutely love this song. The one thing I don't like is the really long breaks in between verses. But other than that it is an INCREDIBLE SONG! It is so good that I need to compare it to Passion and Hikari (other songs by Utada Hikaru.) to see which one's better. So I did...and I couldn't! ALL OF HER SONGS ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Final Distance Review | Reviewer: Micky | 1/11/09
I love 3 Utada Hikaru songs: Passion, Hikari, and, of course, Final Distance. I heard Simple and Clean when my friend was playing KH and I was watching him play. It was the final battles and then the ending.
I swear, KH is one of my obsessions (I have many) and so after KH2 came out with Sanctuary, I thought I should check out who wrote the songs so I did and I was surprised to find that the woman was actually Japanese so I was psyched. The first thing I did was scream and then look up the Japanese lyrics and, once again, I screamed because it was amazing to actually be able to sing, next to my computer, using the wireless mouse as a mic, in Japanese!!!
Anyway, I hope that Final Distance is the theme to KH3! I love this song!
Beautiful... | Reviewer: UtadaHikaru98 | 10/31/08
I love this song so much!!!! I only got hooked onto Utada Hikaru because i play Kingdom Hearts, and she does the theme song for that. all her other songs are fabulous, but i think this is my absolute favourite. so, to this i just have to say...
I love Utada Hikaru! this is one of her greatest songs i think. its so beautiful and heartwarming! i only got into kingdom hearts earlier this year, and i haven't finished the first one, as i borrowed from a friend. but i have almost completed kingdom hearts 2 now, and i absolutely love the theme song. but does anyone know where i can buy the english version of sanctuary? they dont sell it on itunes (grr!)
anyway, GOD BLESS utada hikaru (and tetsuya nomura for kh).
truth behind the song | Reviewer: final | 11/7/07
This song is very beautiful. The music video is very very touching. The song makes us realise how far we are from our loved ones and ourselves.
The truth behind this song is this song is for the osaka school massacre in 2001. A janitor got a knife and started stabbing all of the students then stabbed himself. Yamashita Rena, one of the students who died, won in a paragraph competition on how she wanted to be the Next Utada Hikaru. Aoki Komiko wrote the lyrics and Utada Hikaru dedicated it to the osaka school massacre.
Best song in my book | Reviewer: Ally | 6/20/07
I love this song I think it'e pretty funny that at the begining of the remix for this song says: "Welcome aboard to Global Astroliner" It's so cool and the normal version just sends me to tears sometimes it's such a good song if you know the transltaions. ^________^ Huzzah for Hikki
Wow.... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/4/07
I first found Utada Hikaru through the first Kingdom Hearts video game. I loved "Simple and Clean", and when I went to download it to my computer, I saw "Final Distance". I figured I should listen to more than one song by her, so I downloaded it.THANK GOD I DID. I think I might just like this song better than the other one! Although most of it is in Japanese, the song's beauty takes you away into feeling like although you don't know what the words really mean( if your American ad can't read it like myself) you know what Utada Hikaru is saying.
Simply Lovely

This song is really great! I love many of her songs such as Passion and Hikari from Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 and many many more of her songs... hope that many great songs will come out in the future!
I love this song alot, it is so beautiful, and it has such easy lyrics to follow, unlike some japanese songs i have tried to sing/read. I cant remmember how i got into Kingdom Hearts, but either way, i am so glad! there was another song... done by utada hikaru or no, but it is on kingdom hearts 2 and i cant find the lyrics anyware!! and its such a lovely song! its called 'i love you'. if anyone knows were i can get the lyrics i would be very grateful!

I started listening to Utdada since I heard her first on the Kingdom Hearts video games...and since the summer atfer KH2 released-- I've loved her a lot. Her music is beautiful...and Final Distance is one of her best...next to all of them. And because of her I'm listening to other j-pop artists!
