Final Destination Lyrics
Artist(Band):Within Temptation
I escaped my final moment
But it’s turning back at me
On every corner I can feel it waiting
Just a moment, no awareness
I could easily slip away
And then I’ll be gone forever
I’m searching,
I’m fighting for a way to get through
To turn it away
It’s waiting, always trying
I feel the hands of fate, they’re suffocating
Tell me what’s the reason
Is it all inside my head
Can’t take it no more!
All around me I see danger
And it’s closing in on me
Every second I can hear it, breathing
I can’t stand the fear inside me
Cause it’s leading me astray
And it will be my ending
I’m searching
I’m fighting for a way to get through
To turn it away
It’s waiting, always trying
I feel the hands of fate, they’re suffocating
Tell me what’s the reason
Is it all inside my head
Can’t take it no more!
But no one faced what's coming my way.
And I will let my fear fade away
Whatever may be, I'll have to find out.
It’s waiting, always trying
I feel the hands of fate, they’re suffocating
Tell me what’s the reason
Is it all inside my head
Can’t take it no more!

Review about Final Destination
the final destination | Reviewer: Raven | 8/3/2008
Maybe a train/subway crash, too.... It just seems like either is possible-just because of the title of the song: "Final Destination". As in "Next destination, 73rd Street. Final destination." Anyway, marvelous song. Possibly there's a relationship between this and "Blue Eyes" also by WT. It's like death is lurking in the train cars after the wreck, and Sharon, her mind frayed, is worrying that she's imagining this, waiting for the ambulance to come. She escapes death in the train, begins to find peace with the idea that death was tracking her ["But no one faced what's coming my way/And I will let my fear fade away/Whatever may be, I'll have to find out"] and as she is being taken away on the ambulance, she senses death coming with her [the last stanza: "It’s waiting, always trying/I feel the hands of fate/They’re suffocating/Tell me what’s the reason/Is it all inside my head/Can’t take it no more!"].
Well, that's just how I see it.
Car crash | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/20/2007
This song totally describes a car crash; how the narrator was in the car and hangs in the balance of life and death. At the beginning of the song you hear the crash itself. In the middle of the song, you hear ambulance sirens.

This song is awesome, the song is also a little bit scary
It's like that the death is following singer Sharon Den Adel, to kill her
Great song, I love it

This song is like if singer Sharon Den Adel escaped from the death
Just like the movies of Final Destination 1, 2 & 3
A good Gothic/Rock song
I love it
