Not Feeders fault at all but for some reason in most of the sites I check they all have the same weird spelling mistakes and strange formatting and puctuation. I think someone posted up lyrics early which were kind of right and everyone copied just copied them. Anyway, great song and I submitted corrections.

Great song, especially considering it's a b-side, lyrics seem right to me apart from a few minor things in the chorus'.

The first chorus has the line;
You pure the air that I breathe,

The second chorus is;

You cut away the disease,
You pure the air that I need,
You came and healed my disease,

The second last has the line;
You pure the air that I breathe,

And the last one is;

You've cut away the disease,
You've pured the air that I need,
You've came and healed my disease again,
Now the lights come shining in.

Feeder studied at Exeter University, and began writing the song after their first year (not as some think after finishing uni) the reference to 'got a house in devon' came from after they first got a house together in Springfield Road (i believe, this is just hearsay though). the following lyric then goes 'Drink cider from the Lemon', named after the campus bar, the lemon grove.

EVERYONE! the reason for 'drink cider from a lemon' is that The University of Exeter (which is in Devon btw) student union is called 'the Lemon Grove'. The band obviously had some sort of connection with that... Maybe they studied there?

Another argument for it being 'from eleven' rather than 'from a lemon' is that eleven a.m. is the time that pubs open in the UK, so they're saying they'd drink cider as soon as the pubs open. I suspect that 'from eleven' was originally the correct lyric, but so many people misheard it as 'from a lemon' that the band adopted that as the true lyric for their own amusement.

this reminds me of when me and a girl i was going out with for 9 months broke up, and didnt talk for 5 months, we even had a our first kiss to 'feeling a moment apparently' but back together now,

But now that I'm 21 I have a totally different view of the song with the lyrics and everything I really understand the meaning of the song it . It's a happy song but it's sad for me too as my girlfriend left me recently and not only did we see feeder at T in the Park this year but I really relate to the lines

"How come it ended up like this?
And who's gonna catch me when I'm coming down
To hit the ground again"

and I do feel "all by myself"
