    when she performed this on vh1 storytellers she told a story about how her very christian father had been upset that she wrote such a hurtful song about him and was then greatly relieved when she explained that it was in fact the result of a meeting with lucifer she had had during ritual drug use with a shaman. although the lyrics dont well lend themselves to this story.

    This song has something to do with a shadowy figure Tori must have known back a long time ago. The story goes that this guy was an aquaintence of hers who she kinda liked.They lost touch until he sent her this water color of a girl in a wedding dress and told her she needed to get married. Apparently she knew where this guy lived and one day flew over his house while he was sitting out by the pool. Her plane circled him several times and then flew away. If any of this is true, its really bizarre but romantic. But the lyrics do suggest some of this.
