Kelly, you're mistaken - Willie Nelson wrote the song in 1960. And the early days of song publishing were the 1910's and 1920's. So unless your father wrote it during that time - and it lay stagnant until 1960 when Willie published it - you are flat out wrong. Sometimes people like to believe that they were part of something bigger - but its not cool to try to take it away from one of the most influential singer/songwriters in Country MusiC.
