my take on "Family Reunion" masterpiece | Reviewer: Brad Ruekberg | 5/19/12

My take on "Family Reunion" - first of all, it's a masterpiece. Secondly I share some of the sadness from other comments - this song describes family/life the way it should be, the way for some it used to be & is no longer. Cheers you up, but also breaks your heart. Ultimately, I could see this kind of family reunion in what I hope is the Afterlife or at least my eternal memories.

When I first watch the Movie "Family Reunion" and heard that song it really hit home. I love the lyrics and most of all I love the beat. Thanks Jill Scott for a well put together song.

I really don't respond to too many songs, but Jill put her foot in this one and hit home for me. The first day I heard this song I happened to be at a reunion for some other family, thinking of how much I miss my own and it made my day.

This song made me very nostalgic. I remember the days when my family celebrated holidays. With death, drugs, relocation, and people just acting shady I have this no more. This is definately a feel good song for me. Thank you, Jill.
