Lacuna Coil Falling Lyrics

Last updated: 08/13/2010 11:00:00 AM

Stained, looking at my hands
I talk with these lines
It's not the answer
I'm crying and I now I know
Looking the sky
I search for an answer
So free, free to be
I'm not another liar
I just want to be myself...myself

And now the beat inside of me
Is a sort of a cold breeze and I've
Never any feeling inside
Around me...
I Bring my body
Carry it into another world
I know I live...but like a stone I'm falling down

Damned, looking into the sky
I can feel this rain
Right now it's falling on me
Fly, I just want to fly
Life is all mine
Some days I cry alone,
But I know I'm not the only one
I see that another day is gone
I don't want to die...
Please be here when I arrive, don't die...please

Haunting, beautiful, sad.. | Reviewer: Joobs | 8/8/10

There are two versions of this song- there is this one, and then there is 'Falling Again' from the In A Reverie album. Both versions are great, but this one I feel is the best in terms of emotion. Scabbia's vocals sound raw with emotion; desperately sad and hopeless. You can feel the ache in your heart as you listen to her, and as she's the one who wrote the lyrics of this song you can really hear her pouring her heart and soul into the vocals- something you rarely hear from vocalists, no matter how sad a song is. I doubt Lacuna Coil will ever write a song like this again. I doubt Scabbia will write lyrics like this again- its a dark, brooding, emotional song..and you do wonder what darkness could inspire this.

A special, brilliant song all Lacuna Coil Fans should know.

Tear Jerkingly moving | Reviewer: Aria Newhall | 6/27/07

Falling is one of Lacuna Coil's most emotional songs. With haunting melody and powerful vocals that ebb and flow with the music, the only thing that could-and does- make it even better is the lyrics. Soft pleading, it seems, for the world to open up and let life live. Anyone searching for a way to an answer should hear this song, and anyone who has the answer will search for a new one after vividly seeing the horror of this song's literary painting in their mind's eye.
Excellent, overall.
