Falling Into Grace Lyrics - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Review The Song (15)

What ever never knew
That I could feel so good
Smile in your eyes
What ever never knew
That I could walk through wood
I guess I never tried
A million years old
But just a little girl
Vibin' off the gong
Rubbin' on the bowls
Make you float around
Make your lovin' strong

And when we get
In the same place
At the same time
It is your grace
sponsored links
That I want to
Fall right into now
To love avow

I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk
I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk

She moves in a rapture
That her capsule might
Land on your star
Meditating in the morning
Head dressed in white
Beauty bazaar

You can smell the purple light
Comin' from her heart
Get lost and wet
I treat you like a teacher
'Cause that's what you are
I wanna be your pet

And when we get
In the same place
At the same time
It is your grace
That I want to
Fall right into now
To love avow

I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk
I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk

( chanting thing )

I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk
I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk

I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk
I'm falling into grace with you
I'm falling into guru muhk

Gotta disagree about the "best" peppers album | Reviewer: TugBoat | 8/25/14

I'm not sure on the origin of the song, even though I read Scar Tissue, but I gotta say... Stadium Arcadium is no doubt the best album. Non stop pure unadulterated GOLD!!! Everybody knows that "one hot minute" was a sweet album, and sex sugar blood magic" could be argued to be their best (especially considering the sales of that album), but I had to put my two-cents in.... Stadium is the best.... In my opinion. U r welcome to your own opinion.

You're wrong, Mai. | Reviewer: Derek | 6/15/12

In Scar Tissue, Anthony mentions about the time when he slept next to a naked Cher. Sonny was friends with AK's dad and through lines (using their address to go to school, for example) Cher babysat Anthony one night. Pages 46-47 (in the hardback at least) is where it says "Okay, it's time for bed now. We're going to sleep in the same bed..." "There was a woman's naked body, and it was long and slender and special and just thrilling."

Grace is a name mentioned on the next page, (48) - "I was in my journalism class with a beautiful girl named Grace, who was very physically developed for a fourteen-year-old, especially for a Japanese girl..." "I started to play with her breasts and kiss her..."

The Asian girl WAS Grace, better check up on that book again! :-)

Wrong, Keegan | Reviewer: Mai | 12/29/11

Nope, you're wrong! It's true, that he did something with a Asian girl, but her name was NOT Grace!
(I just start reading the book, so I can remember all of it..)
I don't remember the Asian girl's name, but later on, came this Grace! Grace was his nanny one day, and she let him sleep in her bed late at night. Grace went to the toilet, and Anthony saw her naked, when she changed her clothes.
So the Asian girl was not Grace, better check up on that book again! :-)

And also, the tittle don't have to be about Grace, Falling Into Grace can have another meaning

The actual meaning of this song... | Reviewer: Rob | 5/24/10

This song is about Sikh religion and Eastern spirituality. Anthony met a gurmukh and was so moved by the experience that he was inspired to write this song.

A gurmukh (Guru Mukh translated to English) is an enlightened spiritual being. It is a Sanskrit word. This word is used heavily in the Sihki manuscripts.

true meaning | Reviewer: Keegan | 4/5/10

In Anthony Kiedis' autobiography, he recalls a moment in junior high in which he tells a teacher he has to help a young, japanese girl (who he adds was quite attractive), that he will help her with a news paper article. They then left and had a little "fun" in the bathroom, then moved to the janitors closet, had more "fun" and then returned to class. This young womans name happened to be Grace. She was his second sexual partner, the first being his own fathers girlfriend (and his father was completely fine with this by the way)

this song gives me an artificial state of well being | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/12/10

beautful, elegant song. its perplexing how after 20 some odd years theyre stillable to kick it. alot of people said this album was shit, but i have to disagree. nearly every song on it is execptionally sweet and absolutley brilliant.stadium i thought was ok,but it seemed just a bit too media friendly and not rhcpish.i really hated the wannabe sir psycho sexy song...shes only 18...horrible sexually inducive song.

This song is AMAZING.
And the chant is "Ong namo, Guru Dev namo."
[which means: "I call upon Divine Wisdom" and it's used in yoga]

i agree with joe | Reviewer: daniel | 12/22/07

sorry jake. while blood, sugar, sex, magik has some good songs on them i feel that most of them sound alike. where as one hot minute has a collection of different songs which is better.

I disagree with joe | Reviewer: Jake | 6/7/07

Yes it's funky, yes it has spooky chanting, yes it's an ace song BUT it comes from a pretty crap album in my opinion, their first album is soooo much better. There best album though has to be blood, sugar, sex, magik >>CHILIS IN THEIR PRIME!

funk | Reviewer: Joe | 6/3/07

This song is so freaking funky, i love the chanting towards the end, so spooky! One Hot Minute, definetly the chili's greatest album
