Fall At Your Feet Lyrics
Artist(Band):James Blunt
I'm really close tonight
And I feel like I'm moving inside her
Lying in the dark
And I think that I'm beginning to know her
Let it go
I'll be there when you call
And whenever I fall at your feet
Do you let your tears rain down on me
Whenever I touch your slow turning pain
You're hiding from me now
There's something in the way that you're talkin’
Words don't sound right
But I hear them all moving inside you
Go now
I'll be there when you call
And whenever I fall at your feet
Do you let your tears rain down on me
Whenever I touch your slow turning pain
The finger of blame has turned upon itself
And I'm more than willing to offer myself
Do you want my presence or need my help?
Who knows where that might lead
I fall
The finger of blame has turned upon itself
And I'm more than willing to offer myself
Do you want my presence or need my help?
Who knows where that might lead
I fall at your feet

The OC... | Reviewer: Carly | 12/31/2007
The cliffhanger, where johnny falls at marissa's feet. this is where i first heard this song. i've never actually heard the original so i cannot say if this is better or worse. All i can say is it brings out emotion in the majority of people who have watched the OC. So whoever says this song is a bad cover is severly wrong.
Love it | Reviewer: lorelai | 12/14/2007
Blunt's version really leaves emotion, like he had to express himself into something and this was it. I also heard it first at The Oc episode where Johnny died and to be honest, i was more focust on this song than the scene. I have watched it over and over. This version is just way better than Crowded House. I do think it's a little short and he could have done the ending better. But i love it.
the song | Reviewer: carolina | 12/13/2007
i cryed when i liste to this song in The O.C it was so sad i`m not a fan of james blunt i don`t really like him but this song is amazing
amazing | Reviewer: samm | 12/10/2007
the first time i heard this song was, as others have mentioned, on the OC, the episode where jonny claims his love for marissa on the cliff, falls and dies. i cried my eyes out. people have said that this song has no emotion and i definately beg to differ. to me, it's filled with emotion. you can almost feel the pain in james blunt's voice, especially at the very end. it's so raw, so real. i still feel like crying everytime i hear it. it's my absolute favorite song ever.
Not better, not worse -- just different | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/6/2007
I've heard several folks say that the Crowded House version and the Jesse Cooke version were better than Blunt's version. I actually enjoyed all three, but found that Blunt's evoked a different emotional reaction. Crowded House's version seems like the strong someone waiting for their beloved to recover from some hidden personal pain. Jesse Cooke's version was true to Crowded House, but didn't really strike a new chord. In Blunt's version, there was something new. This wasn't just someone hanging on the sidelines while his lover suffered -- in Blunt's version, it is as if he is suffering his own private torment as well, that is drawn with bitter strings through the rendition.
Sometimes a cover isn't just a re-singing... it is a re-making.
James Blunt | Reviewer: @ttilio | 12/4/2007
I'm Italian, but I hate Italian music so I usually listen english and american singers... I love James Blunt's songs, maybe 'cause I'm unlucky in love...I've had only negative experiences in love and James Blunt, whit his songs, has been the sountrack of my life...
umm | Reviewer: lara | 11/28/2007
pretty sure that crowded house are the only ones who could ever fully produce a masterpiece with this song...no cover could ever do this song justice...especially james blunt!
there are better covers | Reviewer: bonita | 11/9/2007
this was a crowded house song and not written by Blunt. A better cover was done last year by Jesse Cooke with some awesome acoustic guitar in it. nothing against this guy but you could do better on this one...and enjoy it even more.
