In 1981, Bay Area California musicians Mike "Puffy" Bordin,
Billy Gould, Mike Morris, and Wade Worthington formed a
band called Faith No Man. A year later when Worthington was
replaced by keyboardist Roddy Bottum, and Mike "The Man"
Morris was ousted, the group began calling themselves Faith
No More. After going through a series of singers which
included Courtney Love, the band was joined by Chuck Mosely
in 1983.
The same year, Jim Martin was recruited to replace
guitarist Mark Bowen. A four-song demo tape recorded in
1984 led to the band's first real album, "We Care A Lot,"
released on Mordam Records in 1985.
Within a year the band signed up with Slash Records, and
in 1987 their second album, "Introduce Yourself," was
released. The subsequent tour brought F More...

Mike's not an asshole. He's just intense, sarcastic and an all around smart aleck. He's actually very polite and well-bred - just has one crazy ass stage persona.
And he's a tiny bit crazy regardless.
And yes, FNM were great before Mike came along too, Roddy Billy Puffy, they are the backbone!

------ About the song Anne's Song performed by Faith No More
Anne's Song is my favorite Faith No More song. I love the almost childish sing-song way it's done, and then it soars and becomes something glorious. I love the way it's so casual, listing a catalog nothings (who's got the cream soda) but then tells us we can do anything when we're with Anne. Maybe it's just the average everyday world of some kids, but there is great power in that youth, here dreams are still alive, well and kicking some ass. I would suggest to all of you, get up at 3:00AM sometime and play this song really loud, dance if you want and hold your arms out like an airplane when it gets to the soaring parts, 'cause you can do anything.

Blah Blah Blah! FNM is better...no Ill Nino is better! Shaddup! Critics all of you! Critics are fat, lazy, bald and nobody likes them! The song is great no matter which band did it really... They're fairly close to eachother... the Ill nino is a little harder but most of that has to do with recording techniques of a different decade. Mike Patton vs Chino??? Who wins...everyone bc they both are amazing singers. And whoever said "Musical Aids" I think should die of "Musical Aids" ... FNM and Mike Patton away from FNM have always use technology to be cutting edge for their day... that's basically how they got their start ... being weird with a wild new sound....DUH!!! So when you write stupid crap like that from your bluetooth blackberry in between games of Wii sipping on your AMP energy drink remember you're part of the whole technology factory. Way to go both bands... cool music is cool music whoever did it whether they did it first or not you pretentious music snobs!

------ About the song Edge Of The World performed by Faith No More
The song is about an old man praying on a little girl. That's the whole point. I don't think killing his mother is over the top at all.. what if his mother was a total crack whore bitch that beat him every day? Ya never know.. but the point is.. it's music, it's expression, just enjoy it.

If you look down on people liking old music. you are a Butlicking cocksucking Idiot, who just cares about Beeing trendy and "act cool". if you like music, you know that even if its not exact your kind of musical taste, it can still be good, well made music.
..And we all know that Artists thats Original, as well as Good Musicans. is the Greatest Artists. Artist who cover others are just Admirers of others great work;)

------ About the song Evidence performed by Faith No More
yeah- hmm bj's aside- this song reminds me of a fallen friend who was fleeing the cops in his best bros "borrowed" vehicle and crashed into a powergrid a block after the cops called the chase off, and a block from where he was seeking sanctuary...

------ About the song Midlife Crisis performed by Faith No More
This was a new song when I was 18, and now 17 years later having just turned 35 a few days ago...it hits me harder and has become my anthem of sorts. "Midlife Crisis" was on one of the first 4 CDs I ever bought, so the whole album was awesome for me. I've been re-discovering my love for Faith No More this past week. Awesome 90s band, they're having a reunion tour so catch 'em if you get the chance.

------ About the song A Small Victory performed by Faith No More
Just my two cents to say that you hit the nail on the head Paula. FNM are just an incredible band. Such groundbreaking ideas and Mike Pattons vocals are just second to none. Cant wait to see them in June!!
This song is prtty cool, but if I were writing it, it'd be a little less... violent. the part about killing his mother? that's a little over the top, and he mkes himself sound like some old dude preying on eight year old girls. but... i guess if you think about it, it's kinda cute.

Good morning. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible.

Best regards :-D, Kali.

Pristina = Prishtina | Reviewer: Gagica
------ About the song Pristina performed by Faith No More
Name of my city is Prishtina and pronounce is correct like this. Name "Pristina" it was in Serbian language but 90% of people in Kosova write and call PRISHTINA.
However, Faith No More, thanks for song I love my city Prishtina.
I heard that song first in a strip song in San Diego back in 92 or 93. It was simply awesome!
So now, whenever I hear it again.... it remind me of those rounds cheeks moving in front of me.....uahhhh!

Ill Nino sucks bigtime. FNM are kings. This has nothing to do with being stuck in the nineties, it has to do with being able to hear the difference between bands with class and bands with musical aids.
that jonathan guy down there....haunting...
i love this song its very down to earth i bet mike spent a while on this song, and it has a cool atmosphere to it like ur life really has fallen to pieces
sweet!!!
Why it is called Zombie Eaters | Reviewer: The Troll
------ About the song Zombie Eaters performed by Faith No More
This is my reasoning as why this song is called Zombie Eaters. You may have heard the expression "we are born into the grave". This speaks to the idea that the only sure thing in life is death. So with that in mind we are all really the living dead or in other words Zombies. Babys feed off thier mothers for 9months up to 5 years in some cultures, feeding and eating are one in the same. Thus, Zombie Eaters.
Love the song | Reviewer: Jason
------ About the song Zombie Eaters performed by Faith No More
Love both versions of the song. Ill Nino's is much more heavy, but faith no more is the original. Both are good and most of the people who don't like Ill Nino's version are probably old dudes stuck in the 90's.
Ill Nino WHO? | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song Zombie Eaters performed by Faith No More
I've never heard of Ill Nino before and to think that someone would even attempt to cover Zombie Eaters?! Ha ha that's like someone trying to cover Hey Jude. It'll always pale in comparison to the original.
