Faith No More Lyrics

In 1981, Bay Area California musicians Mike "Puffy" Bordin,
Billy Gould, Mike Morris, and Wade Worthington formed a
band called Faith No Man. A year later when Worthington was
replaced by keyboardist Roddy Bottum, and Mike "The Man"
Morris was ousted, the group began calling themselves Faith
No More. After going through a series of singers which
included Courtney Love, the band was joined by Chuck Mosely
in 1983.

The same year, Jim Martin was recruited to replace
guitarist Mark Bowen. A four-song demo tape recorded in
1984 led to More...

------ About the song Midlife Crisis performed by Faith No More

Loki Mischief | 2/7/13 - sorry but the lyrics you refer to are actually in Land of Sunshine not Midlife Crisis.

Faith No More have been the soundtrack to my life since I was 17 and I'm now 40. I feel so privileged that they have yet again announced a new date - Hyde Park, London 4 July 2014 - and that 23 years after I first heard them on a "Now that's what I call music" cassette tape (!!!) I can see them live all over again. I have seen them live numerous times over the years and have never EVER been disappointed by any of their shows! :D

An awesome song. A stellar metaphor. A great listen with tons of emotion. | Reviewer: thezachj
------ About the song Zombie Eaters performed by Faith No More

"Why it is called Zombie Eaters | Reviewer: The Troll | 8/5/08" is correct in my opinion of the meaning of the title. He is singing through the eyes of a babies egocentric outlook. You hear ego and you sway to the negative, but it's not, it's primal or basic instinct. They don't know how to care about anyone else but themselves except that there is this weird connection with these people that supply there needs. No concept of other except to say that they give them what why need. It's that simple.

You can read your own "metaphor" into the song relating to relationships of your own, or any other fantasy you wish and that's fine, but the nuts and bolts are here for you.

"So hug me and kiss me, wipe my butt and piss me!!"

------ About the song RV performed by Faith No More

What amazes me is Mike Patton's ability to use the lyrics of a song and produce such a deep meaningful sounding tune.
I still hear "im only painting" instead of "im only bleedin" in this song. I can remember listening to this album 20 years ago and it sounds better today than then. Other good songs were A Small Victory and Everythings Ruined from the same album. Patton's range and ability to transend normal lyrics into a deep melodic dialouge of sorts, make him probably the best front man in the music industry.

------ About the song Everything's Ruined performed by Faith No More

Don't think FNM were out for popularity at the time, they just like making
music. Their comeback was BRILLOPAD! Saw them in Joensuu, Finland, cried almost the whole way through like a teenage girl. I love their don't-give-a-crap attitudes, makes them more unique than the other bands around at that time. Mucho Lovage.

Absolutely Perfect | Reviewer: Chandler
------ About the song Stripsearch performed by Faith No More

This is the most perfect song ever made. No matter how many times I listen to it, I never get bored. It's actually the most played song on my iTunes as well, and has been for as long as I can remember. Just amazing.

Pristina = Crn prisht | Reviewer: Macedonian
------ About the song Pristina performed by Faith No More

Pristina is Macedonian toponym, in Macedonian language is "CRN PRISHT" and its a synonim for Anthrax. The name of that place (now is a cityname) comes from an accident of Army of the Macedonian Tzar Samoil which was infected by Bacillus Anthracis - Antrhax (in Macedonian language- Prisht) in that place.

Mike Patton, The man of a thousand voices | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song RV performed by Faith No More

I love FNM, I love everything this man touches. He is every scary noise you hear in I am legend, Mr. Bungle is amazing! He speaks fluent Italian, there is nothing he can't do. check out lovage, "music to make love to your old lady to" and the Dillinger escape plan that he does the main vocals on!

------ About the song Absolute Zero performed by Faith No More

Another example of the band's genius output. Between Mike Patton's arrival and the release of 'Album of the Year', they recorded some of the finest, most innovative, imaginative hard rock music ever heard. Check this song out now!

Out-take from Angel Dust? | Reviewer: Noel
------ About the song The World Is Yours performed by Faith No More

If the information I've read is true, and that this song was indeed dropped from the album 'Angel Dust' - which is the greatest album of all time - I'm glad it was cut, as it wouldn't have fit and most likely would've ruined the flow of the album
