Everything Glorious Lyrics - David Crowder Band

Review The Song (12)

The day is brighter here with You
The night is lighter than its hue
Would lead me to believe
Which leads me to believe

(chorus)
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
And I am Yours
What does that make me?

My eyes are small but they have seen
the beauty of enormous things
Which leads me to believe
there's light enough to see that

(chorus)
You make everything glorious

You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
And I am Yours

From glory to glory
You are glorious You are glorious
From glory to glory
You are glorious. You are glorious
Which leads me to believe
why I can believe

You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
And I am Yours
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
You make everything glorious
And I am Yours

From glory to glory From glory to glory
You are glorious. You are glorious.
You are glorious. You are glorious.

Uplifting song | Reviewer: Opeyemi Sofowora (from Nigeria) | 6/24/13

I first this great song on 1GOSPEL, a cable TV station. I was moved to the extent that I had to write it down. Few days later, I downloaded it. It's been one of my favourite contemporary gospel song since then. If everything GOD created is good, what does that make me the image of GOD in JESUS Christ? What a song. The lyrics, the vocals and the instrumentation are divine. Glory be to GOD.

Sadly theologins don't write songs anymore. | Reviewer: jim | 2/27/13

What does that make me if this song speaks to me? The answer is Vain-glorious. A worshiper of self. Luke 18:19 clarifies that in Jesus view He was unwilling to even be referred to as-good teacher! His words-not mine: "no one is good -except god alone." If Jesus Christ was unwilling to be called good please do not suggest in a superposed worship song that we ought to think of ourselves as glorious!

Theological basis for the song | Reviewer: Voomby | 12/30/12

2 Corinthians 3:18 "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord."

God is glorious, not us | Reviewer: rick | 10/12/11

I would like to preface this comment by saying that i am a huge David Crowder fan and like most of his music. However, as catchy as this song is, it makes me uncomfortable to sing and i do not believe it is theologically sound. At the end of the chorus he states "What does that make me?" implying that he is glorious as well. The word glory means to reflect the presence of a being (for us that being would be Yahweh) and while this is what we are called to do, i do not believe that this is what we actually do as humans. We are sinful beings and we do not reflect the Glory of God, only Jesus did that. "And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power." -Hebrews 1:3

David Crowder & Mewithoutyou | Reviewer: Chelsi | 8/11/07

I really like this song.

There's an old Mewithoutyou song, called Four Word Letter Part 2, that says "I'm so small, I can barely be seen, how could this great love be inside of me" (in reply)"Oh look at your eyes they're small in size, but they see enormous things."

This song says the exact same thing.
Clever.

I think that The David Crowder*Band is very talented in contemporary christian music. I always sing at least one of his songs when I'm at worship. They're very relaxing and easy to sing to and you can really relate to them all in a different way.
